Etched Glass Coffee Mugs
Crystal Swan Etchings is getting ready for Brooklyn Prep's Annual Alumni Dinner. In the past, I have etched a 16oz pint glass and a 27.5oz mug. This year I will be sandblasting a 10oz glass coffee mug. Here I am prepping the first round of what will be 500 glasses in total. I have already laid out their logo in Illustrator and made a print out that allowed me to make a stencil out of photo resist. I measured out where the center of the logo is and used the guide mark to help me lay down the stencil straight. I taped up the surrounding open areas for protection and all that's left now is to blast away, peel and wash.
