When I received the phone call to pick up a bottle from the local liquor store, Netcost Liquors, I work with, the cashier was concerned with the order he had taken. He told me he had a crumpled piece of paper with some kind of drawing of a lightbulb. After picking up the bottle and piece of paper, I tried to decipher the drawing and saw what the customer was trying to accomplish. I gave a quick phone call to her to make sure I was correct. She informed me that the light bulb had some personal meaning behind it and yes, she was trying to create the electricity of the lightbulb with their initials. I drew it out for her and sent her a proof. She said, "Yes.", that was what I was trying to draw you. She also requested a "toast" she wanted written on the back of the bottle. I made the point to etch the saying in the shape of the lightbulb that laid directly behind the front drawing. This way, when looking at the front, you didn't see words showing backwards, through the glass, behind the etching. Gold fill was added for an extra "pop".
