Low Riders Motorcycle Club of Staten Island, NY picked this 26.5 oz Mug to present to their winners at their 20th Annual Bike Blessing. Each glass has etched on it a Harley Davidson and is customized with the category they won including Best Japanese Import and Furthest Distance Traveled.
Thank Mom for her patience, guidance, support and love with this 5”H x 18” x 6” glass fruit bowl. You can also use it as a floral arrangement or fill it with some potpourri. Get creative! No matter what you fill it with, it's the message she will be looking at.

Finishing up the last of 3 awards I do annually for the Thomas La Puppet Memorial Classic karate competition. On the left is my carving map. I must sandblast the things that appear closer to the viewer first and deepest. That is the start of obtaining the 3 dimensional layering. On the right is the finished piece set within in a light up base to illuminate the carving.
Here I am prepping 60 mugs for Brooklyn Prep's Class of 1963's reunion. I have already etched the beer mugs. Before I take the resist off, I painted them their school color blue. After sitting for a day I carefully removed the material with a plastic razor blade and let the paint cure for another week.

She traveled to Santa Fe, NM and was taught by the very best in the glass etching business, Ruth Dobbins of Professional Glass Consultants.
